Duties & Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

ZPMC ENGINEERING AFRICA (PTY) LTD, requires a young, vibrant, and enthusiastic individual to fill in the post of Receptionist and Admin Assistant. The following tasks and duties (however not limited), will be assigned to this dynamic individual, namely:

  • Reception, Administrative Support Services and General duties
  • To act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers
  •  Ensure excellent customer service
  • Inform employees of visitors waiting for them
  • Answer incoming calls and transfer to appropriate staff
  • Taking and relaying messages
  • Sorts, receives, and distributes incoming and outgoing Courier Packages
  • Perform general clerical duties such as filing organizational documents, etc
  • Photocopies and scans documents for staff as required
  • Monitor and ensure that the reception area is kept tidy

Desired Experience & Qualification

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Matric or post matric diploma in admin
  • At least 2 years’ experience in switchboard and front desk duties
  • Computer literacy (Experience and fluent in Microsoft office)
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Knowledge of office administration practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to operate a computer, switchboard, and a photocopy machine
  • Versatile skills required to adapt to a variety of tasks and situations to perform the duties of the job
  • Be dependable
  • Good organising skills
  • Have good time management skills
  • Attention to detail and multi-tasking
