Duties & Responsibilities


To manage the reception area and switchboard function, and provide administrative support to the Office of the CEO.

● Excellent telephonic communication and writing skills (minute taking skills)

● Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook) – Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute

Key performance areas:

● Answering of switchboard

● Typing, filing, copying and scanning documents

● Data-capturing

● Managing boardroom and meeting room bookings

● Receiving visitors in a friendly and professional manner

● Minute taking at meetings

● Administering the Chrysalis Academy website

● Providing administrative support to the Office of the CEO

● Ad-hoc responsibilities assigned within the Academy

Desired Experience & Qualification


● Grade 12 certificate

● Office Admin/Computer Studies certificate advantageous

● At least 4 – 5 years’ relevant reception and administration experience

● Understanding the holistic approach to youth development

● Non-smoker and sober habits

● Competent (verbal and written) in English and at least 1 other South African language

Package & Remuneration

Contract position: R96 000 CTC per annum
