JOB SPECIFICATION – HEAD OF DIGITAL MEDIA

ROLE / DESCRIPTION

Person X is a strategically minded, business savvy and digitally proficient professional, with at least 15 years of experience in the media industry. This person would need to feel equally comfortable within both the agency environment and an executive boardroom.

Person X is probably currently Digital Media Director or Head of Digital Media at a recognised media agency, marketer or consultancy.

Not only would this person assist in landing new digital media clients, but they would play an active role in helping to define Maximise’s digital strategy and future growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development of digital media strategies for clients
  • New business strategy and acquisition for Digital Media sector
  • Building out the digital media capacity and capability
  • Deal closure / C-suite engagement
  • Collaboration with the traditional media team to close integrated media opportunities
  • Thought Leadership and elevation of the Maximise brand in the market
  • Pitch strategy and management
  • Team management and mentorship
  • Training/upskilling team members

REQUIRED SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE

  • Strategic and implementation experience in the digital media landscape
  • In-depth knowledge of digital media service offerings and solutions
  • Deep experience of media publishers and planning and buying
  • Strong global and local media landscape trend watcher
  • Deep understanding of pre and post conversion media funnel
  • Experience in managing a team and facilitating their growth
  • Critical thinker and problem solver
  • An ability to collaborate in an integrated agency environment
  • Experience in managing complex briefs and client relationships
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong data and analytics skills
  • Blue-chip brand experience
